I recently uploaded the outcome of my hands-on Titanium Appcelerator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appcelerator_Titanium) in DSpace at Open Universiteit.

CELSTEC Clicker is an audience response system, also called “clicker” or “personal response system”. This system is composed by two modules, the first one is an app used for gathering questions to individuals based on their location (See figure 1 and 2), and second one, a platform for monitoring back the results of the poll to the group in the form of a chart or graph (See figure 3).

Thanks to Nicolas Balachef who is Chair of the STELLAR TEL dictionary, I have provided a new netry on the TEL deictionary about Adaptive Learning Environment.

In the entry I give a high level view on Adaptive Learning Environments and components. I did quite some research on this topic whi h actually started in my Doctoral Thesis at the University of Trier.

Mijn zoon R. is een leeftijdsgenoot van Marijn Simons, een bevlogen violist, dirigent en componist. Toen R. 6, 7 jaar was bedacht hij – geïnspireerd door dit voorbeeld – dat hij ook viool wilde leren spelen. Ik zal u zijn leerproces verder niet uit de doeken doen, maar het voorlopige eindpunt is dat zijn viool een aantal maanden geleden is ingeleverd bij de Radio 4 instrumenten-inzamelactie. Wij allen hopen dat een ander kind er meer plezier aan zal beleven.
