CELSTEC’s Peter Sloep consulted by standaardisatieforum

This forum is an important advisor of the ‘standaardisatiecollege’ of the Dutch government. This college decides which standards are included the lists of standards supported by the government. Subject of the consultation was the standard for e-portfolio’s (de NTA2035). |
Standards
The standard NTA2035 is developed by Kennisnet and the Dutch institute for normalisation NEN. A standard is a formal document that establishes uniform engineering or technical criteria, methods, processes and practices. A standard for e-portfolios ensures the interchangeability of e-portfolios between platforms. The NTA2035 standard describes the use of e-portfolios in education, but employment offices (UWV) and temporary employment agencies also want to use this standard.
Experts
The standard NTA2035 is nominated a candidate to be included in the list of standards supported by the government. The Dutch ‘standaardisatiecollege’ decides if it is included or not. The ‘standaardisatieforum’ advises this college, after consulting experts.
About Over Peter Sloep
Prof. dr. Peter Sloep is professor Learning Networks of the Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies (CELSTEC), a research instituted of the Open Universiteit. He is an expert in the field of standards and chairs the learning Technologies commission of the Dutch Institute for normalisation NEN. He was involved in the development of IMS-LD, the internationally accepted standard for learning design that is developed within CELSTEC.
