Augmented reality and mobile learning
During the meeting the neighbours informed eachother on the projects they are working on and exchanged ideas on the innovative use of ICT in education. The partners concluded that there is a lot of overlap. Both are working on projects in the field of augmented reality and mobile learning in which the virtual world is added to the real world.
Brainstorm
After the exchange of information and ideas, the students formed smaller groups with the PhD’s of CELSTEC to brainstorm. In a relaxed atmosphere the groups toyed with theoretical descriptions. After half an hour the groups came back with additional ideas for the project. In plenary discussions the ideas were accentuated.
Project week
In april the students have a project week. In this week they will work with CELSTEC on the development of an application or device. The result of their work will be tested and used in school by other students and teachers. The following weeks students start to prepare their project work, while keeping in touch with the PhD’s.
You'll find a report on the meeting on the site of Sintermeerten (in Dutch).
