Leernetwerken
When we talk about learning we immediately think about 'school' (formal learning), as opposed to 'working'. You 'learn' at school, and after school you start 'working'. This image is wrong. A person is curious: he learns from what he seas, hears and experiences, whether he wants to or not. Today, in the 21st century this image is more wrong than ever.
Learning in networks
People share knowledge and experiences with acquaintances, friends, colleagues. This informal learning is a social activity. Social media and social networks make it possible to connect our personal networks and to extend them enormously, thus enhancing our possibilities for informal learning. This type of social learning for knowledge sharing and more specifically for profesiional development, we call networked learning.
The book 'Leernetwerken'
This book, written by a team of researchers of CELSTEC, explains in a clear, practical way what networked learning is and how you can use it. The book is written in Dutch.
