New on CELSTEC Staff: Johan van Strien
As of July 1 2010 Johan van Strien has joined CELSTEC staf. He will do PhD research in the Learning & Cognition programme. |
Construct validity
Johan van Strien has recently obtained his research master’s degree in Educational Sciences at Utrecht University, with a thesis on the construct validity of self- and peer ratings of influence, friendliness, and productivity in an electronic peer feedback and reflection tool. During his studies in Utrecht, he worked as a student assistant for several PhD candidates and as a teaching assistant (SPSS for undergraduate students). At CELSTEC, he will participate in the project Multiple document comprehension: Effects of instruction on students’ comprehension of hypertext, under supervision of prof. dr. Els Boshuizen and dr. Saskia Brand.
