What game?
The focus of this masterclass is a practical one. Central question is: What should I do if I will use serious gaming in my clases?".
The number of games on offer is overwhelmingly large and in some case the quality is still limited. It's not easy to find a suitable game. The first obstacle a teacher encounters is exactly that question: how do I find a suitable game? What do I have to look out for? How do I prevent that pupils are waisting their time?
Wim Westera discusses 5 different ways to find a suitable game. Using examples he'll show how gaming and learning can be intertwined (or not).
