Rob Koper and Paul Kirschner consulted by national committee
![]() | The Dutch minister of Education has appointed a committee to draw up a national plan for the future of the educational sciences. This week CELSTEC’s prof. dr. Rob Koper and prof. dr. Paul Kirschner are invited for a meeting with the committee. |
This committee, chaired by Thom de Graaf, is organising a series of meetings to inventory experiences, ideas and wishes of organisations and individuals that are in one way or another involved in educational sciences. Koper and Kirschner are among the scientists they want to consult.
The aim of the committee is to draw up a national plan that promotes the value and position of the educational sciences in the Netherlands, both nationally and internationally. The goal of this plan is to define a framework for decision making on national, organisational and faculty levels with respect to sustainable and high-quality practising of the educational sciences.
The report is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2010.
