Skills Labs workshop for watermanagement

Tuesday 31th March 2009 representatives of Hogeschool Zeeland and Kennisnetwerk Delta Water visited the Medialab of Open Universiteit Nederland in order to follow a Skills Labs workshop.

Watermanagement
Hogeschool Zeeland,  Kennisnetwerk Delta Water and the Faculties of Natural and Managerial Sciences of Open Universiteit Nederland collaborate in the development interactive cases about Watermanagement, with the support of series of workshops provided by CELTEC staff members.

Serious games

The participants of this workshop learned how to work with some tools to develop serious games. In earlier sessions they already designed scenario’s for the games. These games will form part of the programmes of the insitutes. During the games the students will work on practical problems within four authentical situations, being 1. Estuarine systems: The Scheldt, 2. Water governance: Perkpolder, 3. Aquaculture, and 4. Building with nature.

Skillslab
The Skills Labs project is the successor of the Emergo project. This project further develops and scales the Emergo method and tools to develop serious games in an efficient and effective way.
