Computer based assessment (Computergebaseerd toetsen; CBT)

The Open Universiteit Nederland wants to introduce computer based assessment in its educational system as an answer to the needs of competency based education and actual developments like indivualisation, flexibilisation and lack of time.

The project Computer based assessment aims

• to implement a computer based assessment system as a standard functionality within the education of the Open Universiteit Nederland and as a integral part of the electronic learning environment and the student administration;
• to migrate the existing sys-examinations and the regular examinations to the new online examination system;
• to enhance the workflow of assignments.
